All of us have sinned
You may think that I am attending church and going to Sunday school. I am very good. I am not a sinner. But do you know that the Bible says that all of us have sinned? We have not lived like the way God expects us to. You are a sinner and I am one too. In our day-to-day lives we lie, feel jealous of others, get angry and hurt others, cheat others etc. All that makes our hearts dirty. God does not like that. God does not hate us but he hates the sin in us.
God sent Jesus to save us
God is a loving God and he sent Jesus. He died on the cross for our sins. He took our punishment. He rose again. He lives today. Jesus is the only one who can make us clean from our sins. What should we do to become clean again?
Confess our sins to Jesus and Believe in Jesus
When you believe in Jesus and you say sorry to him for the wrong things you have done, Jesus forgives your sins. You need to turn away from your sin and obey God. He will give his Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide you in all you do.
Because Pharaoh disobeyed God by refusing to set the Israelites free, God decided to punish him, sending ten plagues on to Egypt. That was really a bad day for Egyptian. But it wasn’t scary for Israelites because they had obeyed God. If we have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus we have nothing to fear. Jesus has saved whoever believes in him and they will have eternal life.
We need to turn to God everyday.
